Our keynote presenters will discuss the results of the recently released ARC report, in addition to answering the "why" of how we teach fundamental aviation concepts.
Vice Chair of the NTSB since 2018. Retired as President from AOPA’s Air Safety Institute after two decades, writing a monthly column, conducting many safety seminars, and serving on too many committees! Worked in marketing and new business development with FlightSafety International with emphasis on owner-flown aircraft from light turboprops and twins to high performance single engine aircraft. Created the University fleet leasing program at Cessna Aircraft Company in the late 70s.
Served in the USAF as a missile Launch officer for nuclear ICBMs. Holds ATP and CFI certificates with over 7,000 hours and 3,000 hours as a CFI/ CFII/MEI. Owns a Beech Bonanza and suffers all the challenges of ownership. Bruce, his wife Jan, and cats, live near Charleston SC and stay with family in DC area as Board duties regularly require.
