Following a career in classical music, Christine Mortine turned from conducting instruments to flying by them. She is an FAA appointed Pilot Examiner, maintains CFI-ing (especially tailwheel), flies for the Buckeye Wing of Commemorative Air Force (CAF), and is a former AOPA safety seminar presenter and FIRC instructor. Christine has a Cessna 185 and a Super Decathlon.
Her home base is KOSU where she is privileged to serve as Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF) Ohio Liaison, co-chair Scioto Valley 99s, board of the National Parks National Aviation Heritage Association (NAHA), founding board member of Ohio Air & Space Hall of Fame and Learning Center (OAS), and board for National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). Her heart is the mountains, but celebrates wherever she may be.
