Julean Thorpe

Julean Thorpe is the program manager for the Flight Training Security Program (FTSP) within the Enrollment Services & Vetting Program (ESVP) at Transportation Security Administration (TSA). She oversees the development and implementation of security protocols to ensure the integrity of the national transportation system. With over 15 years of federal experience, Julean’s had the privilege of serving the public in various roles. Prior to joining TSA in 2021, she worked for 12 years at the Social Security Administration, where she worked as a legal assistant in a hearing office and later as an IT specialist.

Julean also honorably served in the United States Army. This experience instilled in her a strong sense of dedication and commitment to public service. Throughout Julean’s career, she’s developed expertise in security management, federal policy compliance, information technology, and technical assistance.
