Improving General Aviation safety: is flight training part of the problem or part of the solution?
Matt Speare served in the United States Army as an Attack Helicopter Pilot for 23 years. A 13,000-hour pilot, he has developed the training program for all Lancair models, building on the original Lancair IV/IV-P syllabus and manages a diverse group of LOBO endorsed instructors distributed throughout the US.
Despite not being a full-time Flight Instructor, Matt personally instructs more than 20 trainees per year, helping them to transition from other airplane models into the world of demanding Lancair models. He is also both a NAFI and SAFE Master CFI.
