Rick Miller

Chief Flight Instructor, Lunken Flight Training Center

A pilot for over 30 years, Rick Miller has been a flight instructor for the past 15.  He retired from a highly successful software management career over a year ago fully expecting to continue flight instruction part time to feed his “aviation addiction.”  Today, he enjoys an “encore career” as the Chief Flight Instructor for Lunken Flight Training Center (LFTC), a Part 141 and 61 flight school at historic Lunken Airport in Cincinnati Ohio.  LFTC provides collegiate-level flight instruction and is one of the region’s largest flight schools.

He currently instructs in the school’s 172s, DA20s, and DA40s, and for private clients in Beechcraft, Piper, Cessna, and Mooney aircraft.  Rick has over 1200 hours dual given and over 3000 hours in 25 different types of aircraft.  For the past 15 years, Rick has owned a 1961 Beechcraft Debonair.
