Scott E. Ashton is President and CEO of Aerox Aerospace Group, based in Bonita Springs, FL. Mr. Ashton is an aerospace industry executive with more than 30 years of experience working for such leading companies as Sikorsky, General Electric, and Goodrich. In 2020, Mr. Ashton purchased Aerox Aviation Oxygen Systems and has since also acquired SkyOx and Fluid Power, Inc. Aerox is a leading provider of specialty aviation oxygen systems for business and general aviation. Its products include portable and installed oxygen systems, PMA Oxygen Cylinders, and TSO Approved Oxygen Masks, and MS and MIL Spec oxygen components.
Mr. Ashton also currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and as a pilot for PALS SkyHope, a charitable aviation organization that arranges private air transportation at no cost for individuals requiring medical diagnosis, treatment or follow-up, and for humanitarian purposes. Mr. Ashton is an ATP-rated pilot with ratings in airplanes, seaplanes, gliders, and helicopters, and is a Certificated Flight Instructor, with more than 3,000 hours of flight time.
Mr. Ashton’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Masters of Engineering from the University of Hartford, and an MBA from the Lally School of Business at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Ashton and his wife have three grown children and are living in Naples, Florida.
