Everything your Flight Instructor Never Taught You About Using Aviation Oxygen

As flight instructors, we are typically concerned with teaching regulatory compliance as a way to remain both safe and legal. However, merely complying with the requirements of 14 CFR Part 91.211 may keep us legal, but it won’t keep us safe.

This seminar will review the real-world use of aviation oxygen – including hypoxia, the considerations for purchasing and using an oxygen system, how to refill it, how to service it, and answers many of the questions that instructors may get asked by their students – especially as they progress into higher ratings and higher performance aircraft.

This seminar is taught from the perspective of a CFI, not a doctor, so we keep it practical and usable for CFIs and pilots.
