National Association of Flight Instructors – NAFI – is dedicated to maintaining and protecting the privacy of our Members and web visitors and delivering options to you regarding the use of your private and personal individual information. 

What information do we collect? 

∙ We collect information you provide, such as your name, address, email address and phone number(s) to complete your requested transactions. 

∙ We collect certificate and rating information for use on the Find a NAFI Flight Instructor program. 

∙ We collect credit card information to process the orders you request, such as membership join or renewal  transactions and the Master Instructor Accreditation programs. 

∙ We collect demographic information, such as date of birth, to help us learn member characteristics and needs. 

Controlling Your Personal Information 

You may update your Member information (name, address, phone number, email & other personal information) by visiting www.NAFInet.com and log into the members’ only section of the site. Listed below are other options for contacting  us to update your personal information. 

Sharing Information 

If you are a Member of NAFI, we share your personal information only with entities who provide NAFI Member benefits,  products, or discounts (name and address only), or that support NAFI operations. These include corporate supporters and  service providers such as mail shops and website developers. We do not sell, rent or offer Member information to  telemarketers, mailing list brokers, or any other third parties that are not offering NAFI-endorsed or branded services or  benefits. 

Third Party Practice 

This policy does not extend to third parties who may be listed on our website, linked from our website, or may otherwise be  communicated to you or introduced to you by NAFI. Should you provide personal information to any of these third parties,  you agree that NAFI is not responsible for the third party’s handling of your personal information. We offer links to other sites  giving you access to information that we think may be of interest to you or may benefit you in some way, but these third-party  websites are not bound by our privacy policy. 

Acceptance of Privacy Policy 

By using or accessing our website and providing us with your information, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of our  privacy policy. You should not use our site if you do not agree with this policy. We will update our policy as needed to  safeguard the privacy of our Members and visitors and to keep up with changing technology. We may make these changes to  the policy without providing you notice.
